Summer heat and summer veggies

Sorry for not blogging in almost a month. It's been quite busy around the farm. As most of you know we had some strawberries this year. The season was short but very sweet, just under a month of strawberry picking off farm plus picking at the farm and market's gets challenging at times.

The rain last night was quite the blessing, just under 2 inches and we needed it. Now the heat is coming in next week meaning everything is going to grow, including those dreaded weeds, have no fear. We will still have plenty of veggies to go around. This week the selection is getting a little bigger, we are adding broccoli, swiss chard and carrots.

Veggies that are just around the corner include:

Cherry Tomatoes

Heirloom Tomatoes

Cucumbers

Beets

Onions bunching and bulb

Green Beans

Thank you for you patience and patronage as we grow.

2023 a year full of surprises so far.

Every year seems to be different for us here at the farm. The typical struggles of weather, weeds and bug. But for some reason this year has started off different. We haven't got anything planted yet
