The time of year has finally come with holidays and new year's. We hope you had a fun and safe Christmas, or whichever holiday you celebrate. We are looking forward to putting 2020 behind us just like you. Hopefully we will return to normal by market season, but who knows what the cards hold for everyone.
With the busy holiday season winding down we want to share a quick recipe that is sure to be a hit on New Year's Eve, bacon wrapped Jalepeno poppers. Now we know what you're thinking, I can't makes those. It'll take way too long. We tried out a different recipe for Christmas glazed carrots, start to finish it took us 20 minutes.
So here's the quick and easy popper recipe:
What you'll need.
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
12 Jalepeno's, halved lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed
12 slices of bacon
How to cook
Pre heat oven to 400°, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil
Mix cream cheese and shredded cheese until blended evenly.
Fill each jalepeno half with cheese mixture. Put halves together and wrap with bacon. Arrange the peppers on the baking sheet.
Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
